Was The WWE Faction Known As "Evolution" Funded By George Soros? | Infowars

  2. Pro Wrestling: WWE
  3. Forbes says Mauro fans are hypocrites and are bullying JBL.
Maze_ 5 days ago#1

the no-holds-barred sensibilities of social media, uplifting support is quickly beginning to devolve into mean-spirited animosity as these so-called Mauro Ranallo supporters fight fire with #FireJBL.

WWE's digital media audience remains healthy well past WrestleMania season. Raw's social media score has topped the Nielsen rankings in its timeslot for two weeks running. The post-WrestleMania edition of Raw received 285,000 Twitter interactions from 57,000 unique authors to go along with 328,000 interactions on Facebook. Raw's Superstar Shake-Up episode garnered 206,000 Twitter interactions from 36,000 unique authors.

With this scandal still going strong as it approaches the end of its first month, JBL's every tweet has been subject to intense trolling from WWE's large digital media base of angry wrestling fans. A recent tweet, where the SmackDown Live commentator referred to Hong Kong as a great city, received the following comments

"Apologize to Mauro, ya buffoon." (@VillainScurlll)

"You deserve to be fired from WWE." (@AJPaxton_)

"Yep. He blocked me a few hours ago. He needs to find a job at McDonald's because if WWE fires him that'd be his only option." (@AJPaxton_) #FireJBL

"Please stay there and never come back to wwe. #firejbl" (Salvas94)

"Stay there. #firejbl" (@embersmoon)

Did you get a one-way ticket? #FireJBL(@A_TAB91

The groundswell of negative comments was headlined by former UFC champion Pat Miletich, who took a threatening tone when he proposed he and JBL have a "man to man discussion."

It's one thing if JBL's actions were caught on camera, or if there was damning evidence that proved he bullied Ranallo out of the lead announcer's chair on SmackDown Live. But this tale of backstage tension was mainly reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a wrestling tabloid that serves as the most trusted source of news in a world where reality and kayfabe are often blurred and WWE makes little effort to discern the two. Though the Observer has been a pillar of wrestling news coverage for decades, its dependance on anonymous, back-channel wrestling sources make it less Washington Post and more Us Weekly.

What does seem apparent is that JBL and Ranllo did not get along. Ranallo has done nothing to silence the uprising of criticism toward his former colleague over the past month, and even fanned the flames with a recent anti-JBL tweet where he mocked his 1998 knockout loss to Bart Gunn during WWE's ill-fated Brawl for All.

- Forbes

And here's Cornette + Brian Last debating whether or not JBL is a bully twice:

And here's info on JBL fighting racism by creating a nonprofit rugby organization for troubled youths.

As he acclimated to Bermuda, he noticed what he called "the almost predominant black-on-black violence that is unfortunately pervasive throughout the local neighborhoods", and in 2011 created the nonprofit organization Beyond Rugby Bermuda, using rugby union to provide young people with an alternative to gangs.

The organization is an offshoot of Beyond Sport, a South African nonprofit that uses running for similar purposes; Layfield was introduced to that group's founder when he and his wife visited the country for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He spends much of his time outside of WWE with the organization, filling duties as varied as celebrity fundraising and mowing the rugby field. Beyond Rugby Bermuda began with six boys; as of February 2017, more than 400 boys and girls were involved. Layfield is now a global ambassador for Beyond Sport alongside figures such as Tony Blair and Desmond Tutu.

Err, that was me not Forbes.

I don't think JBL's attempts to help gang members get on the right track is a PR stunt, hardly anyone knows about it and it's something he funded himself.

Hell Ron Simmons is one of JBL's best friends.

This. If someone is tweeting him saying they are gonna kick his ass or telling him to kill himself or something like that, yeah that is crossing a line into being hypocritical. If someone is tweeting the FireJBL hashtag and saying WWE need to do something about this guy being a bully and not threatening him that's fine.

The argument is that people are being hypocrites trying to get him fired for allegedly being a bully.

Forbes example is he made a tweet about a city being great and was bombarded with tweets telling him to get fired and kill himself.

Which were sent because people are angry he sent tweets mocking Mauro being happy he won commentator of the year and that's mean...

JBL is innocent.
watch JBL bounce back from this controversy and become more over than ever.
Bullying a bully is inherently morally superior to bullying an innocent. It may still be wrong, but it still morally superior. In other words, two wrongs don't always make a right, but one wrong can be more wrong than another.

In this case though, JBL's whole "tough guy" schtick falls apart if he needs a safeplace because meanies on the Internet (people who JBL regularly mocks) are hurting his feelings.

It's not remotely similar to what JBL does to people as we aren't in positions of authority or seniority over him, aren't physically intimidating him, and aren't sexually harassing him.

Also he's rich and we're just random people. Despite our complaints he's still keeping his job, while apparently employees who speak out against JBL's bullying get removed from the show.

I'd say the Tweeters are justified in keeping this up if WWE doesn't give Mauro a commentary spot back. It's bulls*** that JBL's the one causing trouble but Mauro's the one who has to go. They shouldn't get away with that.

Meltzer's problem was that Coachmen wants to report on the WWE but is ignoring this issue. He said his issue was more with ESPN than Coach

It would be like if ESPN or CBS ignored the Ray Rice issue because they have NFL contracts.

I agree with Meltzer though on that issue

And lol at people saying Joey Styles KO'd JBL. Have people actually listened to the story? They were both getting held back, Joey slipped free & landed a punch. It wasn't like Mike Tyson dropping some schlub in 15 seconds, he's probably lucky JBL didn't get free & kill him.

People on the Internet have no solid evidence or right to try to get JBL fired.

The only acceptable thing is for JBL to be bullied in real life, or at least mocked in real life. The people who he has bullied need to stand up to him and start to bully HIM, and it needs to be seen by many.

The only thing that will get to JBL is public emotional/psychological torture.

Honestly, we need to be more open-minded towards everything instead of choosing between two extremes. Either you are an SJW loser, or you are an unlikable person. Seriously, we need to do something about this.
And yes, it is hypocritical for anti-bully promoters to tell JBL how awful he is.

Why not begin to ask the right questions? "Hey JBL, I don't think Mauro Ranallo is as tough and thick-skinned as Ron Simmons, and your words probably hurt him a lot. You might need to explain yourself to him."

But nope. "f*** JBL, HE IS A SCUMBAG #JusticeforMauroRanallo" What kind of stupid hashtag is that anyway?

@curtland Im wondering something. i know this has nothing to do with the topic, but i just gotta know. if someone tried to rob your home while you were there, what would you do? cause youre an extreme liberal. i dont think youd call the police, since you hate the police. and you wouldnt use a gun either, cause you hate guns. and you wouldnt use a weapon of any kind since you dont believe in violence. what would you do? would you just let him rob your house and tell him that what hes doing is OK since you blame society for making him like that?

Yup. That's exactly what I'd do. Nail on head.

punching people as punishment for punching people is an eye for an eye philosophy, which is archaic because it is proven to not resolve anything except revenge emotions rather than address the actual issue

you are too stupid to argue with so just read the above paragraph 5 times and maybe some of it will stick

we'll see how archaic you think that philosophy is when somebody beats the s*** out of your mother. you'd be straight round there like the rest of us.

    real world.

i punched up a bully, and he's never bullied anybody since...

i've had my ass whooped, and it's made me a better person. it taught me to be more aware of the situations i get into.

this comes with life experience, of which you have none. sad to say.

Then go get your ass beat a few more times

you can't be tough without getting in a few fights and things don't go your way. this is how you actually learn to win on the streets. this is why when you ever get in a fight, u freeze up, get all shakey... punches all soft cause of adrenaline. this happens to u.

It was a funny joke. One that I certainly doubt JBL knows was ever made. Nor would it effect him in any way, even if he did. You're overstating things calling it a threat.
